Picnic Plans

Jessie: How are we going to feed such a huge crowd?

Dan: We could have a chef prepare a feast or we could order pizzas and have them delivered.

Sarah: Pizza isn’t a very good idea because not everyone likes cheese. But I think we should keep it simple more like an outdoor picnic.

Dan: Why don’t we order buckets of KFC chicken. It’s so easy. It’s already cooked and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like chicken.

Jessie: Great idea! Let’s make a few salads to go with that. How about a garden salad, a potato salad and a macaroni salad?

Sarah: Sure. We’ll each make one. Is that okay with you, Dan?

Dan: Fine with me. We could buy paper plates and cups, and plastic knives, forks, and spoons.

Sarah: For drinks we could have several bottles of soda pop and juice. For those who like a hot drink could have instant coffee or tea.

Dan: How about dessert?

Sarah: I’ll bring a bowl of fruit salad strawberries, mango, pears, and blueberries.

Jessie: And I’ll bake an apple pie!

Sarah: Are we missing anything?

Dan: Nope! I think that sounds like all the essential ingredients for a great picnic.
